I remember wading through all manner of items, and almost being able to jump in as a little girl attempting to reach those Rossana sweets. 1
I certainly do not discriminate, micro or crossbody, I am here to declare my love for each and every type of bag that ever existed and yet to be invented. However, nothing really beats a big bag. The Mary Poppins’ type with unlimited space that could contain tissues, snacks, umbrellas, and possibly a complete outfit backup, has been a must for decades. Women, men, mums, business people, gym rats, busy; and less busy: we all need a big bag in our rotation.
As seen in many recent catwalks, big bags are definitely in this season. Runways during the last fashion weeks are studded with references to the iconic Birkin.
