Spring into Emotion
Embrace the season's natural vibe, no magic formula needed.
Spring is the most emotional season of them all.
Misunderstood, in-between, a little unpredictable. Everyone complains about it, and that’s exactly where its magic lives.
To me, spring is pure anticipation, that feeling just before something exciting starts. It’s like getting ready for a night out, the night before Christmas, or when Winnie the Pooh got all excited putting on his Big Boots because he knew an adventure was coming.
As you know, I’m an emotional dresser. I’ve never believed in formulas. I’m visual, instinctive, led by feeling, and that has always worked better for me than any rule ever could. At least when we are talking fashion. Which is probably why spring brings out the best in me. Taste and instinct are the only guides I need. I dress with my feelings, going with the wind.
These are the pieces that carry me through my spring days. No rules in place, just small anchors for the many emotions the season stirs in me.
Silk Overcoats
Some days I just want to feel easy. Light, effortless, like a careless little butterfly. A silk overcoat does exactly that: it moves with me, catches the light, and feels put together without trying too hard. A gentler alternative to the trench. Less rigid, more intuitive. She’s chic, she’s light, she’s just stepped out of a Botticelli painting.

The Leather Jacket
Some mornings require courage, quite literally. Dressing, for me, is one of the quickest ways to find it. Slightly oversized, a bit bold, a leather jacket brings instant structure to whatever I am wearing. I throw it over something soft or delicate, sometimes just my usual jeans. It balances everything out and makes me feel powerful.

The Dramatic Trench Coat
Living in London made me completely unbothered by unpredictable weather, and I’m grateful for it. It also means I can fully commit to a theatrical trench coat with zero hesitation. Big, exaggerated, all about presence. You put it on and things feel a little more under control. What you wear underneath doesn’t really matter anymore, which is sometimes exactly what you need, a kind of disguise. I’m loving the A-line shape by Nour Hammour, and the scarfed versions below that add something extra to the classic silhouette.

Colourful Trench Coats
As I said, spring is the best time to let your mood dress you. Trenches don’t have to live in the beige lane, think red, soft blue or meringue. Let the colour decide how you walk into the day. I’m particularly into a bold red right now. It feels indulgent and optimistic, like dressing for the mood you want rather than the one you woke up with works better than any made-up fashion equation.

Cardigans
If there’s one thing that never fails me in spring, it’s a simple cardigan. It adapts. You take it off, put it back on, layer it, forget it in your bag. It moves with the day, not against it. That’s exactly the energy you need this time of year. Reliable, but never boring. A true companion. My current favourite is this one by Vivere London.

Scarves & Sunglasses
Accessories are often the whole point for me, I’ve stopped pretending otherwise. A scarf loosely tied adds just enough. A pair of softly retro sunglasses makes everything feel more intentional, being the perfect shield for days when your confidence isn’t quite overflowing. Flowy light scarves will cover your precious neck from any sudden weather change and they will elevate any look, but they can also double as belts. These are the small touches that will tie an entire outfit together without a single extra effort.

So again, there’s no secret magic formula in fashion, at least not one that works for me. In my world, the key has always been injecting a bit of myself into it. As an emotional being, emotion and passion are the things that guide me and to this day make me still excited about getting dressed and the rotation of the seasons.
This spring, just add something uniquely yours and just go with the wind.
Love you all.
