Cool Stuff Pt.18
A roundup of the cool things that inspired me this past week
Welcome back to Cool Stuff!
If you are new here (welcome!) Cool Stuff is The Inside Pocket series where I present some inspiring and beautiful finds from the fashion world and beyond, hoping to bring you a bit of joy, of course. :)
Here’s a list of things I loved this past week, as usual, in no particular order.
Check out the previous volumes!

Schiaparelli Overload
If you’re in London, Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art at the Victoria and Albert Museum is absolutely worth seeing. Dedicated to the unforgettable Elsa Schiaparelli, the exhibition moves between past and present with this incredible sense of imagination and play that still feels so relevant. Her life was incredible, from the early days in Rome to Paris, London and New York, surrounded by movie stars, theatre legends and artists like Dalí and Picasso. I was completely blown away by the surreal and ultra-rare perfume bottles, the brooches and the collection of sculptural buttons. (One of them was a peanut, and I ran to Etsy looking for a similar one, yet to be found though). Seeing pieces like the Skeleton Dress, the Phoenix Dress, and the Lung Dress up close really stays with you. Also, any excuse to spend time at the V&A is a good one for me, and I always end up in the café, which somehow makes you feel like you’ve slipped into the 1920s for a while. 10/10!!
Sweet Spring Details
As I mentioned in my last letter, spring just does something to me, everything feels sweeter, lighter, full of possibility.
I keep noticing things I can’t wait to wear, small shifts in colour, texture, and those tiny details that make an outfit feel personal. A brooch that catches the light, a perfect green trench coat, these earrings that I cannot stop wearing, and a halter-cut top with fringes. And most of all, lace socks peeking out of loafers. There’s something so satisfying about that contrast, especially when it appears under an extra long coat. It’s subtle, but it changes everything. I looove spring!
Charlotte Rampling
Bambi Prints
I’ve been completely obsessed with St. Agni since my early days at Net‑a‑Porter, and their new Fawn collection is honestly to die for. The studio, founded in Byron Bay, has this chic, minimalist approach that never bores me the way other brands unfortunately sometimes do. At the top of my wishlist is the Fawn Jacket, but also their tote, and oh my god, that Fawn Pencil Skirt with its sleek, elongated silhouette makes me gasp every time I see it.
Boycotting Fast Fashion
Stealing is never cool, and when it comes to ideas it still makes me see red. Remember the Maison Magdalena scarf I wrote about recently?
Big fast fashion brands keep lifting work from small, independent creators, often dismissing them as “too small to matter.” Unlike high fashion houses, which tend to respond with apologies or credit, fast fashion treats copying as business as usual. But the good news is that we, as consumers, hold the real power. Choosing better is cool. Buying thoughtfully, swapping, borrowing, reselling, repairing, these are all ways to enjoy fashion without feeding a system that thrives on convenience and hype. The best part is that we live in a world where information is more accessible than ever, and we can use it to make smarter, kinder choices, even when it’s just about picking something cute to wear. Having said that, I am not buying Zara anymore, are you?
New Beauty Products
I tried the CurrentBody red light mask and, honestly, I have no idea if it’s working yet because the results are meant to show in four weeks. For now, I love how easy it is to fit 10 minutes of red light therapy into my routine two to three times a week, so we’ll see how it goes. I spoke with a dermatologist friend who confirmed that there is proven evidence showing its efficacy, but you have to be careful with your eyes. I’ve been keeping mine closed and using the time to just relax for 10 minutes with zero distractions. I’ll report back, but so far, so good. If you want to try it too you can use code GUILIACB for 10% off!
Another little addition to my bedtime routine is this lavender and jasmine mist. It is super affordable, and now my brain instantly associates it with sleep, so it has me drifting off in no time.
Thank you so much for sticking with me. I’ll see you very soon with another volume of Cool Stuff.
I love you all,
Giulia xx
